If you aren’t able to attend one of my group classes, or if you have any particular medical or personal circumstances which mean you require a more individual approach, then a one-to-one yoga class may be a good option for you. One-to-ones are also useful if you would really like to begin a regular personal practice at home, but aren’t sure where to start. They are also useful if you have any particular issue you would like to focus on, for example, sciatica, insomnia etc.
All my one-to-one sessions are tailored to the individual, and include asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), meditation, and yoga nidra (relaxation).
One-to-one yoga FAQs
How much does it cost?
It is £45 for the initial one-and-a-half hour session, which includes a telephone consultation before the session, and a personalised practice plan which you will be given following the session. Subsequent sessions cost £30 per hour.
Can you organise private lessons for couples/small groups?
Yes I can! Please contact me with your requirements.
Where do they take place?
The session can either be in your home, or I have a number of venues I can hire if necessary. This cost will be in addition to the session fee.
Do I need any special equipment?
I can provide all mats, bolsters, blankets etc for the first session. After that, we can discuss what equipment you may need to continue your practice at home, and either order it for you or discuss where you can purchase it from.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable eg jogging bottoms/leggings/vest/t-shirt and have a warm layer and socks for final relaxation.
What if I need to cancel a session?
If possible, I will try and rearrange the session for another time which is mutually convenient. If sessions are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a cancellation fee of half the class cost.
