Core Yoga

A class suitable for adults, both men and women. We will focus on building flexibility and core strength, including the pelvic floor. Whether you suffer from lower back pain from spending hours at your desk, want to increase your flexibility for taking part in sport, or would like to regain your core following pregnancy, this is the class for you. Beginners are welcome.

The class takes place on Fridays at La Vida yoga studio in Ulverston, from 5.45pm to 6.45pm.

You need to book online by following this link to the La Vida website. Classes are £10 or £9 concessions, or you can buy class passes which start at £40 for 5 classes for new students.


PLEASE NOTE Core yoga is not suitable for pregnant women or less than 12 weeks after you have given birth, please instead see my pregnancy yoga classes or parent and baby yoga classes.

Core yoga FAQs

What should I bring?

Please bring your own yoga mat, or hire one from the studio for £1.

Wear something comfortable eg jogging bottoms/leggings/vest/t-shirt and bring a warm layer and socks for final relaxation. It’s also advisable to bring a bottle of water.

Parking and transport

There is on-street parking in the town centre car parks. The nearest bus stop is a five minute walk to Victoria Road, and the studio is a ten minute walk from Ulverston Train Station.
